My project focuses on the pattern analysis of non-motor vehicle accidents in New York City through data table joining and visualization. My plan is to predict future accidents if possible.

NYC Bike Collision, Nov 2016 - Nov 2021

This is an image showing the bicycle collisions in New York City over a five year period. Each red dot represents a case of bicycle accident, and the x-axis is the longitude and the y-axis is the latitude. As we can see in the image, many accidents happened in the borough of Manhattan and Brooklyn. Manhattan seems to have the highest bike accident density comparing to the other four boroughs since it's almost filled with solid red. This confirms my prediction that Manhattan has the most bike crashes.
